On August 25, 2025, IVE released their fourth album, 'IVE SECRET,' capturing the ears of music fanatics once again. The album, consisting of a total of 6 tracks, is led by the energetic title track 'XOXZ.' The six tracks are: 'Wild Bird,' 'Dear, My Feelings,' 'GOTCHA,' 'Bbi-bik,' and 'Midnight Kiss.' And there's an added level of importance as it's a members involved album too.

Composition "XOXZ" is the 2nd song that member Wonyoung made contribution on composing it together; it is proving her presence as a musician. The song has powerful beats that make listeners feel excited, as well as an addictive melody and a mysterious atmosphere. XOXZ isn’t just a dance track, but successfully introduces a new musical color by drawing various new sides that have never been seen before from IVE’s confidence and enigmatic charm. Lastly, from the album, 'Midnight Kiss' is a song Liz contributed to. Killing two birds with one stone, we see her artistic side here. It's a song over the lyrics having a dreamy feel to them, added with Liz's emotional vocal talent. The album, 'IVE SECRET,' is special both in that it is the first group album released, and the fact that the members took part in the production of the album and further solidified the group identity. The fact that Jang Wonyoung and Liz are a part of this is clear proof to me that IVE is transcending the label of simple “idol group” and making the spirit of “artist” its own. This proactive musical engagement and participation with fans directly influenced the extent to which fans yearned for IVE's future musical development.
