Kpop artist's Enlistment

As a K-pop idol fan, I personally think that idols shouldn't go to military service. It ruins the progress of the groups or stops them from moving forward compared to if they were one group. As boy groups go to military service for 18-21 months, in that period of time the rest of the group has to fill in the gap or the empty space in the group. Also, if their enlistment is scheduled at similar time periods, it creates a bigger gap in the group, especially when the group is small. In addition, the group has to re-choreograph the whole song depending on which member is missing. Also, the lyrics to the song change when a member is missing.
On the other side, all men are required to go into the military for a certain period of time in Korea because Korea is still at war against each other, but is at armistice with each other. So just because they are idols, it doesn't mean they are off the list of going to the military. This is unfair to people who are not idols or who are not famous.
Some people might say that if the idol made a big impact in the country, they are excluded from going. The other fandom would say that their idol also made a big impact and this could cause a big conflict in the industry.
Still, if the group is at its highest point or on the rise to becoming famous in Korea or outside, it will be a big holdback on the team because of the missing member on the team. It is also possible to postpone until the time when the member is enlisted. Most idols go to the military in their late twenties, when they are almost thirty.
Idols going to the military might sound disappointing and sad, but it is to help the country, and it doesn't mean they are leaving forever. They will return when their military service is finished.
