School Character Traits
There are a lot of school character traits, most noticeably every month there are new ones.
This article is going to talk about September, October, November, and December's traits.
In September, the school's trait was adaptability, and the winner was Lily Hahn. Adaptability is the ability to be able to adapt to challenges like homework and tests. It is also about working with others when things go wrong and have a calm and flexible mindset. Lily Hahn demonstrated this by being calm, and adaptable. For winning that the school gave her a snack box, and a book to read.
For October, the school chose self discipline, and the winner is Alex Jung. Having self discipline is the ability to be able to control feelings, and having the ability to overcome weaknesses. Alex Jung showed self discipline by controlling his emotions, and trying to overcome his weaknesses.
In November, the trait is going to be being principled. To be principled you have to be fair and you have to be honest. Someone who lies a lot will find this trait hard, and people who make things unfair might also find it hard. But if you can be honest and fair you have more chance of getting the prize.
For December, you need to be brave and that means standing up for others. It might sound easy but it is hard. Standing up for others is a hard thing to do and only the brave can do it.
In order to get prizes you need to be able to fit the monthly trait the best. No matter the trait if you are aware of your actions, if you try hard, and if you actively try to make good choices you have more chance of getting one of the awards.
