Sweet Home(Content Warning)

For this passage, I'm going to introduce one of the most popular and impressive K-Drama, which is 'Sweet Home session1' that has 10 episodes. When one's desires become excessive, an unknown disease spreads that turns one into a monster, and due to the attacks of these monsters, the residents of Green Home Apartment become isolated in the underground shopping mall of the apartment complex.

& The Monsters

Storyline: A mysterious disease spreads, turning people into monsters driven by overwhelming desires. As these monsters attack, the residents of Greenhome Apartments are trapped in the apartment. Among them, the residents, led by Eun hyuk (Lee Do hyeon) and Jae heon (Kim Nam hee), continue their desperate fight against the monsters. Meanwhile, Hyun soo (Song Kang), who has been bullied and lost his family in a car accident, moves into Greenhome Apartments alone. However, his suppressed desires begin to surface, and he transforms into a monster. Fortunately, he doesn't lose his humanity and fights alongside the others, becoming the vanguard in the battle against the monsters.

On the other hand, Yi kyung (Lee Si young), a former firefighter with a background in special forces, learns that her late scientist husband had conducted research related to the monster outbreak. She decides to venture outside the apartment complex to uncover the truth but is soon discovered by a special military unit. However, she learns that Hyun soo is a special type of "infected person" who can resist fully transforming into a monster. When the residents leave the apartment to gather supplies and are attacked by a giant monster. Ahn Gil seop (Kim Gap su) rescued Hyun soo with the firebomb and Yi kyung drives a fire truck to rescue them. She returns to the apartment, but after regrouping, the residents are once again attacked by the monster-like security guard, leading to Jae heon's death.

Amid their grief, the situation worsens when a ruthless group of humans, who have taken control of a military unit, arrive in armored vehicles, causing even more casualties. However, thanks to the efforts of Hyun soo, Yi kyung, and Sang wook (Lee Jin wook), and with the help of another infected person, Eui myeong (Kim Seong cheol), they manage to defeat the human invaders. But Eui myeong, who fears exposure, ends up killing Yu ri (Go Yoon jeong) and Sang wook while they are out searching for asthma medicine. This drives Hyun soo into a rage, and he transforms into a monster again, killing Eui myeong. However, Han Doo sik (Kim Sang ho) sacrificed himself, stoping Hyun soo and Hyun soo loses his memory in the process.

As special forces are deployed to capture Hyun soo, the remaining residents of Greenhome escape through the underground tunnels that Gil seop found before he passes away. Yet, Eun hyuk, who has been a calm and decisive leader, realizes he is also beginning to transform into a monster and chooses to stay behind in the crumbling apartment to face his end. Yi kyung escapes with the other survivors and drives a jeep to join the special forces, while Hyun soo is captured by the military. The person driving the vehicle that takes Hyun soo away is revealed to be Sang wook, who, after being killed by Eui myeong, seems to have had his body taken over by Eui myeong's consciousness.

Season 1 concludes with this ominous turn of events.
