Upcoming Sports Day

Every year on sports day, the whole school comes together in one place and plays games. A normal sports day goes something like this: leave the school at 8:45, open the ceremony at 9:45, start the game at 10:00, lunch at 12:40, more games at 1:30, and leave the venue at 2:30. The sports day takes up the whole day, so we could say that it is a free day in other perspectives.

However, this year's upcoming sports day is a little bit different from the ones before. This year, only the elementary and middle schoolers are attending the sports day. The high schoolers are not attending the ceremony because of the AP test that is happening next week. Not all high schoolers are taking AP tests; however, none of them are going to the event.

It is a study day for the high schoolers, and everyone needs to come to school on that day, even though they are not attending the sports day.

Some students might feel disappointed because they can't attend the sports day. For most of the students, it is a free day for them to play sports and have fun while other, high schoolers, have to come to school and study for the day.
