F/W Fashion: Warm & Stylish!
F/W (Fall/Winter) styles bring warmth and personality to school this semester.
As temperatures begin to fall, hoodies, knit sweaters and relaxed pants are returning to school hallways. This season’s student fashion focuses less on expensive brands and more on warmth, comfort and personal style.
Colors of the Season
Black, gray, navy and brown remain popular because they are easy to match. Earthy colors such as burgundy and khaki can give outfits a fall feeling, while purple or sky blue can add a brighter point.

Layering Takes the Lead
Layering is one of the easiest ways to prepare for changing temperatures. Students can wear a T-shirt under a cardigan, knit sweater or hoodie and add a jacket when it gets colder. They can easily remove a layer inside a warm classroom.
Comfort from the Waist Down
Wide-leg pants, loose jeans and straight pants are practical choices for a long school day. These styles are comfortable and can be matched with many different tops and shoes.
Cold-Weather Essentials
Puffer jackets and light jackets help students stay warm on colder days. Scarves, sneakers and bags can also add color and personality to a simple outfit.

Style That Works at School
Following a trend does not mean buying an entirely new wardrobe. Students can reuse clothes they already own and create different outfits by mixing colors and layers. The best school fashion is comfortable, appropriate and personal. This week, try making a new fall outfit with clothes you already own.
