I interviewed Ms. Baik, an omniscient math teacher specifically strong in Algebra II and AP Calculus.

Q: What is your favorite quote from a book?

A: Life is like a camera. Focus on what is important, capture the good times, develop from the negatives. If things don't work out, take another shot.

Q: Do you have any life advice for students?

A: You must try even if you might experience failure, because that's the only way you improve yourself. It's just like taking more and more advanced classes at school.

Q: Why did you leave the States and come to Korea?

A: A long time dream to come back and see how developed Korea is.

Q: What are your future career plans(or where might you retire)?

A: I want to retire in Seattle.

Q: Do you have any summer vacation plans?

A: I want to go on an Alaska cruise.

Q: What is your favorite car brand and why?

A: BMW, I prefer model BMW XIII because of the fashion design and how useful it is.

Q: What is your favorite perfume brand, and why?

A: I don't put on perfumes that often.

Q: Are you more of a Instagram person or Facebook person, why?

A: None, I don't prefer social media, I want to keep my life personal.

Q: Do you feel a sense of achievement teaching?

A: Yes, I love teaching because I feel that I made some impact on the next generation.

Q: From all these courses you offer: geometry, Alg II, PreCal, AP Cal AB, which do you prefer the most, why?

A: AP Cal and Alg II the best, because I feel that algebra is more abstract, I prefer just solving algebra based questions more.
