Show Me The Money 12 is Finished
On April 2, popular Korean hip-hop survival reality program "Show Me The Money (SMTM) 12" came to an end. Season 12 of SMTM started after a 4-year break since Season 11. It caught the attention of many hip-hop fans, with about 36,000 participants, making it the biggest season ever. Through collaborations with "TIVING", a leading Korean over-the-top (OTT) platform, SMTM 12 was first broadcast on January 15th, 2026. The program finished on April 2nd, marking the end of its season after 12 weeks of performance.
There were 4 teams of producers during the season: TEAM ZICO & Crush, TEAM GRAY & Loco, TEAM J-Tong & Hukky Shibaseki (stage name), and TEAM Lil Moshpit & Jay Park. Each team was composed of skilled musicians, with each group showcasing its own unique musical style. Out of thousands of top rappers in Korea, only 5 of them could make it to the Finals. The final round was performed by Kim Haon, Now I'm Young, Mason Home, Milli, and Travi. Out of them, it was Kim Haon who took first place. Following Kim Haon, Now I'm Young took the runner-up. During the post-game interview, he said, "This was the only scenario I had in mind. I want to dedicate this glory to Zico and Crush hyungs." As a winner's prize, Kim Haon received a hundred million won.
This season has proven to be the biggest in terms of the popularity it has gained. SMTM12 has been ranked number one many times in the TV-OTT Integrated Popularity/Buzzworthiness Ranking. Also, after the first broadcast, the show has been keeping its number one position in Non-drama Buzzworthiness in the TV Category. Not only that, but all of the content relating to SMTM12 (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram) has gained over 1.1 billion views.
