The Iran War
The war between the United States and Iran started on February 28, 2026. There were three main reasons this war began. As of March 9, 2026, the U.S. and Iran are in direct military conflict. On February 28, 2026, the U.S. and Israel carried out coordinated military strikes on Iran. The U.S. called these operations "Epic Fury" and "Operation Midnight Hammer."So far, at least 1,332 innocent people have died in Iran. This includes teachers and young students from a primary school who were killed in the violence.More than 7 people have also died in the United States. This does not mean American lives are less important—every life is precious and one-of-a-kind.
World leaders are quickly calling for both sides to stop fighting and sit down for peace talks. Many countries worry this conflict could spread to other parts of the Middle East, threatening energy supplies and global stability for months to come.
